Ambient Intelligence (AmI) is a paradigm emerging from Artificial
Intelligence (AI), where computers are used as proactive tools assisting
people with their day-to-day activities, making everyone's life more
comfortable.
These environments should be aware of the needs of people, customizing
requirements and forecasting behaviours. 

AmI environments may be highly diverse, such as homes, offices, meeting
rooms, schools, hospitals, control centers, transport facilities, tourist
attractions, stores, sport installations, music devices, etc.

In the track on AmI Environments we will create a multi-disciplinary
discussion forum that will bring together researchers from the different
fields addressed discussing issues in Artificial Intelligence topics
included in the Ambient Intelligence environments. Researchers are welcome
to present both theoretical and practical works as well as the lessons
learned with their application in the varied range of domains. Emphasis will
be placed on the presentation of concrete systems, discussion of
implementation and development challenges and sharing of conclusions
achieved and relevant results.

The workshop on Affective Computing (AC) will focus on the role of affect, social behaviour, and related issues in the development of computer systems. Relevant topics include the consideration of factors like emotions, mood, personality traits, and attitudes in human-computer, human-robot, and human-environment interaction, especially insofar as they provide better or more "natural" support for humans. Also relevant is the role of such factors in facilitating access to the knowledge essential for making better decisions in response to interactions between individuals and the environments (e.g. facilitating social interaction among humans or among humans and artificial characters).

Affective Computing is a multidisciplinary field that draws upon such areas as sociology, psychology, human-machine interaction, virtual environments, and, obviously, Artificial Intelligence. It is also a field with a wide range of applications, including virtual reality, decision support, computer games, and ambient intelligence, social robotics, and ECAs (Embodied Conversational Agents).

The purpose of this workshop on Affective Computing is to bring together researchers to discuss theories, architectures and applications which are based on a combination of cognitive and affective considerations and that can be applied to groups of individually different persons and their interactions.

The second International Conference on *Reputation*: 'Society,
Economy, Trust' follows the success of the first edition
(http://2009.icore.name) as a point of convergence in the
interdisciplinary study of reputation.

The study of reputation and gossip is paramount in many fields of the
social sciences, for example organization science, policy-making,
(e-)governance, cultural evolution, social dilemmas, socio-dynamics,
and sociobiology. Interest in reputation is increasing in philosophy,
psychology, social psychology, sociology, and cognitive science;
formal models appear in game theoretical, mathematical, and physics
journals; computational reputation systems are among the most studied
subjects in multi-agent technology and social simulations.

Our objective is that of providing a common ground for all the
interested disciplines to share techniques and ideas on a stage where
the selection process approach is founded not on one specific method,
and even less on established practices and rituals, but rather on an
open-minded scientific approach to the the object of study.

This year, the  conference focuses on the foremost of Reputation's
relative, trust, and their effects together on the economy, and on the
society as a whole. What is the link between reputation and trust on
one side, and social well-being, equality and happiness on the other?
We invite contributions on reputation and trust, and how these come to
affect the society of agents that use them, ranging from web
reputation platforms to informal models of gossip. Trust and
reputation as means to build social capital and to overcome inequality
and misunderstandings are deeply needed from society just now.

Submission is in two steps: extended abstract first, followed by an
open discussion phase, then full paper. See important dates above.

REVIEW CRITERIA

Papers should present novel ideas related to reputation, clearly
motivated by problems from current practice or applied research.
We expect claims to be substantiated by theoretical or formal
analysis, experimental evaluations, comparative studies, and so on.
Authors are also encouraged to submit application papers. Application
papers are expected to address an indication of the real world
relevance of the problem that is solved, including a description of
the deployment domain, and some form of evaluation of performance,
usability, or superiority to alternative approaches.

Since 1993, the area of Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) has been present in all EPIA Conferences, both as individual tracks and as autonomous workshops. Focusing on a fundamental subject of Artificial Intelligence, the 6th edition of Multi-Agent Systems: Theory and Applications - MASTA 2011 Thematic Track, will be a forum for presenting and discussing the most recent and innovative work on MAS.

Departing, from the end of the 1980’s, from the two main branches of Decentralized Artificial Intelligence and Distributed Problem Solving, research on MAS has developed in areas of increasing specialization and autonomy as diverse as agent theories and architectures, cognitive modelling, coordination, negotiation and argumentation, social organization and social simulation, swarm intelligence, and agent-oriented programming.

Agent technology has been used to solve real-world problems in a range of industrial and commercial applications, including manufacturing, supply chain management, process control, telecommunications, air traffic control, transportation systems, and business process management.

Research on MAS has a vigorous, exciting tradition and has led to important theories and systems. However, new trends and concerns are still emerging and form the basis of current and future research. This thematic track is intended to provide a discussion forum on the most recent and innovative work in all areas of MAS.

The unifying focus of the thematic track will be on methodological aspects. Both theoretical and practical research should be situated in the context of existing or new methodologies. This will not preclude any specific topic, but preference will be given to research work that establishes some connection with the methodological aspects or to successful applications built upon some methodology.

The purpose of the CLIMA Workshop Series is to provide a forum for
discussing techniques, based on computational logic, for representing,
programming and reasoning about agents and multi-agent systems in a
formal way.

Following the previous ten, very successful, editions, the 12th CLIMA
will be affiliated with IJCAI'11 and will take place in Barcelona, Spain,
on the 17th and 18th of July 2011.

In addition to CLIMA's regular topics and sessions, this edition will
feature two special sessions:

* Norms and Normative Multi-Agent Systems
* Logics for Games and Social Choice

We welcome and encourage the submission of high quality, original
papers, which have not been accepted for publication nor are currently
under review for another journal or conference.

LNCS Proceedings: CLIMA's Proceedings will be published by
Springer as a volume in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science, and
will be available in time for the workshop.

JLC Special Issue: After the workshop, authors of selected papers will
be invited to extend and re-submit their work to be considered for inclusion
in a CLIMA Special Issue of the Journal of Logic and Computation.

	For presentation at the conference, authors should submit an abstract through EasyChair, the online submission/reviewing system. Submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Program Committee and sorted into four categories: Oral presentation in a plenary session, oral presentation in a parallel session, poster presentation, or rejection. All the accepted abstracts will be published in the online proceedings (with an ISBN) on the conference website. Authors of accepted abstracts may submit full papers for inclusion in the online proceedings. Full paper submission is optional.

The International Conference on Ambient Systems, Networks and Technologies (ANT-2011) is a leading international conference which provides an international forum for researchers, developers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to address research challenges and to present and discuss research ideas, developments and experiences related to the ambient systems infrastructure, models, and technologies.

   The general aim of ambient systems is to provide an environment wherein computing devices exist anywhere and everywhere. In such systems mobile and embedded computing devices form ad hoc collaboration using different communication networks (e.g., wireless networks, RFID, etc) in order to share and exchange information and provide services. Ambient systems pose new research challenges due to the open and unreliable nature of the environment and the complexity and heterogeneity of the computing devices and the underlying communication networks. These characteristics challenge traditional techniques and demand new ways of approaching the problems related to the ambient systems.
